#HalfMyDAF Matching Grant Challenge

At the Trail Conference, we believe in multiplying our impact.

Our staff and volunteers are committed to providing access to trails for hundreds of thousands of users. We believe in the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of nature and will continue to advocate for the protection of the outdoors.

The #HalfMyDAF matching grant challenge is a nationwide initiative to fuel the nonprofit community and make a greater social impact.

If you’ve been wondering about your charitable giving options, we invite you to participate in our new webinar series, Making the Most of Your Legacy. Longtime Trail Conference supporter David J. Haas, president and founder of Cereus Financial Advisors, LLC, will be offering insight on several ways to give, explaining the benefits of each method. Watch Part 1 on YouTube and join us for Part 2 on Sept. 2.

There is over $120 billion unused in Donor Advised Funds and community foundations across the country. The #HalfMyDAF challenge aims to put these charitable dollars to work now, when and where they’re needed most.

Families and individual donors who make a gift and commit to granting half the money from their DAF will also make the Trail Conference eligible for matching dollars of up to $25,000 through the #HalfMyDAF Challenge.

More than ever before, we recognize the need to invest in outdoor recreation. As our families, friends, and neighbors seek solace in nature, our staff and volunteers will keep working to ensure that you and your family have access to an abundance of exceptional parks and trails.

Join us and hundreds of loyal supporters by making an investment in our trails, parks, and communities. Together, we will remain resilient.
