Do you have one day per month to visit a hiking trail? Give back to the trails by becoming a Volunteer Trail Maintainer!

Join us Saturday September 23 from 10am to 4pm at the Sterling Forest Visitor Center to learn how to become a trail maintainer!

Volunteer trail maintainers visit their trails several times each year to ensure the trails are clearly marked and free of obstacles to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all trail users.

The workshop will have a classroom and outdoor portion. Workshop attendees will meet at the Sterling Forest Visitor Center. Classroom training will be held from 10am to noon, followed by lunch, then heading out on the trail to apply what you learned in the classroom for the duration of the afternoon!
