Tread and Drainage

The brand-new Vista Loop Trail in Ramapo Reservation is almost open, but we need your helping getting it up to snuff. After the previous day's class on Moving Big Rocks, we're going to have a bunch of uneven, rough terrain left in their place. This Tread and Drainage workshop will teach techniques for filling in this rough ground and leaving behind a smooth, firm trail surface resistant to erosion and water pooling. Come prepared with sturdy shoes, long pants, water, lunch, and a willingness to work and learn. We'll provide the rest!
