Do you enjoy birds, butterflies, and wildflowers? Would you like to help protect them? Come help us remove invasive plants from this beautiful park!

Join the Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force as we remove invasive plants in Pyramid Mountain. Anyone can participate. No experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training. You will need to bring leather work gloves and plenty of water. We provide the tools.

MEETING PLACE: Meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 472 Boonton Avenue.

ACTIVITY: Hiking a trail removing various invasive plant species along the trail.  We will be hiking 2 to 3 miles to get to the area on the trail where we will be working.

BRING: Bring plenty of water and work gloves.Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. You may also want long sleeves to protect against bugs, a hat, and sunscreen. We provide the tools.

CONTACT: If there is a change in plans due to weather, we will let you know, or you may contact the crew leader Rich at 646-408-6072 if you are unsure. Please sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes of plans.

Please also let us know if you are running late or decide not to come so we don't waste time waiting for you in the parking area.

For volunteers under age 18, please submit a Guardian Consent form to prior to the volunteer day or bring the paper form the day of. A parent or guardian must be present for the volunteer day.
