Catskills Trail Crew Worktrip at the Huckleberry Point Trail

Registration is closed for this event
Join the Catskills Trail Crew for some fun in the mud at the Huckleberry Point Trail!

The Catskills Trail Crew seeks volunteers to fix muddy areas on the Huckleberry Point Trail. Please join the CTC for a fun and strenuous time working in the woods! The work will span two weeks on July 15, July 16, July 21,  July 22, and  July 23 . We'll supply all tools and send you more info about preparing for the event after signing up. You'll need sturdy hiking boots for working in the mud and a willingness to get dirty while moving rocks and dirt.

The plan is to have up to ten crew members working each day draining wet areas and placing stepping stones across the mud. All of the tools will be transported to the worksite before the event. The muddy sections where we’ll be working are only a short distance off Platte Clove Road. Anyone is welcome to join as long as you can meet the physical demands of the planned work. Please sign up for any days that fit into your schedule.
