Catskills Trail Crew Worktrip at the Platte Clove Preserve

Registration is closed for this event
Join the Catskills Trail Crew for some fun in the mud on the Long Path at the Platte Clove Preserve!

The Catskills Trail Crew seeks volunteers to fix muddy areas on the Long Path at the Platte Clove Preserve. The work will span two weeks on June 30,  July 8,  July 9, and  July 10 . We'll supply all tools and send you more info about preparing for the event after signing up. You'll need sturdy hiking boots for working in the mud, lunch/snack, drinks for yourself, eye protection and gloves, and your enthusiasm and a willingness to get dirty while moving rocks and dirt.

Each day the Crew will be draining wet areas and placing stepping stones across the mud. All of the tools will be transported to the worksite before the event. The muddy sections where we’ll be working are only a short distance off Platte Clove Road. Anyone is welcome to join as long as you can meet the physical demands of the planned work. Please sign up for any days that fit into your schedule.
